Album Notes & Community Reviews
Breaking from his usual rapid-fire bop sessions, guitarist Grant Green stretches out into deep, relaxed soul-jazz grooves on this Blue Note release. Featuring Yusef Lateef on tenor sax and flute alongside Brother Jack McDuff on Hammond organ, the extended tracks emphasize remarkably warm, conversational interplay over driving rhythms.
