Album Notes & Community Reviews

Grant-Lee Phillips's first solo album, made after Grant Lee Buffalo disbanded in 1999, strips his writing to acoustic folk pop sung in his signature falsetto. Self-produced and recorded over three days in October 1999 in Jon Brion's basement studio, its nine songs were first issued online before wider release.
