Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the second installment in their ambitious 'Middle Ages Trilogy', the German power metal veterans deliver a sweeping conceptual work centered on the rise and fall of the Knights Templar. Propelled by Chris Boltendahl's distinctive, raspy vocals and triumphant riffing, the recording perfectly balances aggressive heavy metal traditionalism with medieval historical narratives.
