Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded inside the historic Aeolian Hall in London, Ontario, 'Ongiara' beautifully captures the gentle, acoustic intimacy of the Great Lake Swimmers. Frontman Tony Dekker's hushed, trembling vocals remain the focal point of the record, supported warmly by subtle string arrangements and rich, pastoral indie-folk instrumentation.
