Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hailing from the American Midwest, Great Plains infused their quirky alternative rock with a distinctive, rootsy heartland sensibility. 'Born in a Barn' relies on jangly guitars, lo-fi production, and Ron House's eccentric, hyperactive vocal delivery. It is an enduring cult classic of the burgeoning 1980s college rock underground.
