Album Notes & Community Reviews

Relocating from Arizona to Los Angeles, the band became integral figures in the burgeoning Paisley Underground scene with this full-length debut. Driven by Chris Cacavas' swirling Vox organ and Dan Stuart's slurred, unhinged vocal delivery, the record offers a slightly darker, more drug-fueled take on 60s garage rock. The raw, loose performances established their reputation as one of the most volatile live acts of the era.
