Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the Chicago indie scene, Green delivered a masterclass in passionate, 60s-worshipping jangle pop on their second full-length. Frontman Jeff Lescher's slightly strained, incredibly earnest vocal delivery carries the pristine guitar hooks and bittersweet romantic lyricism. While sadly overlooked during its initial release, 'White Soul' has been celebrated retroactively as a flawless piece of American power pop.
