Album Notes & Community Reviews
A cross-generational collaboration, 'Off-Piste' unites prolific keyboardist Greg Foat with veteran jazz saxophonist Art Themen. The record is characterized by a deeply relaxed, late-night atmosphere, emphasizing warm analog synthesizers and smooth, lyrical saxophone playing. Its sonic palette pays clear homage to the spacious, pristine aesthetics of classic European jazz recordings.
