Album Notes & Community Reviews
Stepping away from his role as the frontman of post-punk outfit Fontaines D.C., Chatten explores gentler, string-laden chamber pop and acoustic folk forms. Co-produced with Dan Carey, the record relies on intricate, slightly macabre storytelling regarding seaside decay, utilizing traditional instrumentation to highlight his poetic, heavily accented baritone.
