Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as unsung heroes of the Memphis underground scene, the Grifters' third album perfectly crystallizes their murky, highly eccentric brand of lo-fi indie rock. 'Crappin' You Negative' buries deeply melodic, almost Beatles-esque pop sensibilities beneath layers of sludgy, detuned guitars, tape hiss, and surreal, stream-of-consciousness vocals.
