Album Notes & Community Reviews
Initially released with English lyrics before being re-recorded entirely in German, 'Jumbo' finds Grobschnitt balancing intense symphonic progressive musicianship with their trademark theatrical absurdity. The album is incredibly playful, juxtaposing Genesis-inspired Mellotron arrangements with overtly comedic storytelling and uplifting, dense instrumental passages.
