Merry-Go-Round

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Demonstrating a conscious pivot away from their sprawling, epic-length suites, 'Merry-Go-Round' finds the German ensemble adopting tighter, more accessible rock structures. The album integrates disco-tinged rhythms and pronounced synthesizer textures, showcasing their playful attempt to navigate the changing musical tides of the late seventies. It retains their signature theatricality while aiming squarely at a broader commercial audience.
