Album Notes & Community Reviews
Captured primarily from cassette recordings made in Dakhla, Western Sahara, this release introduced the explosive guitar playing of Salmou 'Doueh' Baamar to a global audience. The music fuses raw, heavily distorted electric guitar with traditional Sahrawi rhythms and powerful vocal chanting. The chaotic, profoundly psychedelic energy of the tracks bridges traditional desert blues with avant-garde rock intensity.
