Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed explicitly as a reverent homage to the legendary Chuck Schuldiner and the early era of Death, this supergroup flawlessly recreates the pioneering sound of late-80s death metal. 'Savage Land' eschews modern technicality in favor of aggressive, galloping thrash rhythms, searing guitar solos, and Macabre, gore-obsessed lyricism. The album is an incredibly faithful, violent, and joyously executed genre tribute.
