Album Notes & Community Reviews

The fifth solo album by the Super Furry Animals frontman is characterized by its sweeping, seventy-two-piece orchestral arrangements recorded with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Juxtaposing these lush, classic pop melodies against highly cynical, politically charged lyrics, the record critiques modern dystopias with his trademark quirky wit.
