Twisted Crystal

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning toward a remarkably clean, neon-lit pop production style, the New York ensemble tames their typically chaotic noise-rock into infectious, highly danceable art-punk. The incredibly tight, synthesizer-heavy grooves perfectly frame Kassie Carlson's anxious, surreal vocal performances regarding sobriety and technological paranoia. It was widely acclaimed as their most accessible, yet brilliantly weird and focused release to date.
