Album Notes & Community Reviews

Under the authoritative baton of Malcolm Sargent, the orchestra executes a muscular, structurally sound reading of the iconic astrological suite. Benefiting from advances in stereo recording, the immense dynamic contrasts of the score are captured with profound clarity and dramatic heft.
