Album Notes & Community Reviews

Benefiting from the extraordinary digital clarity engineered by the Decca label, Charles Dutoit leads a massive, technically immaculate realization of Holst's legendary astrological suite. The Montreal orchestra balances the crushing martial aggression of 'Mars' with the ethereal, impressionistic beauty of 'Neptune', delivering a definitive modern recording.
