Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gwen Stefani's third solo effort was heavily shaped by the dissolution of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale and her subsequent romance with country singer Blake Shelton. Abandoning an earlier, scrapped album concept, she worked closely with hitmakers like J.R. Rotem and Mattman & Robin to craft a highly autobiographical pop record. It became her first solo project to reach number one on the Billboard 200, marrying deeply personal, diary-like lyrics with slick, contemporary electropop production.
