Album Notes & Community Reviews
Bridging the gap between the pop-punk scene and mainstream hip-hop, 'As Cruel as School Children' catapulted Gym Class Heroes to massive commercial heights[cite: 8]. The album relies heavily on live band instrumentation, infusing upbeat pop rap with funk and R&B elements while maintaining a playful, party-oriented atmosphere[cite: 8].
