Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following their acclaimed double debut, 'In the Garden' showcases Gypsy refining their sophisticated blend of Latin percussion, complex vocal harmonies, and dual lead guitars[cite: 1]. The recording benefits from a tighter, more focused compositional approach while retaining the expansive jamming capability they were known for live[cite: 1]. It remains a high-water mark for the Midwestern progressive rock movement of the early seventies[cite: 1].
