Centered conceptually around the prophecies of Nostradamus, 'Awaking the Centuries' deploys a sprawling lineup of string and woodwind players alongside harsh death metal vocals. The ambitious arrangements bridge crushing distortion with authentic Renaissance and Baroque motifs.
