The Californian sister trio expands their sunny, classic-rock foundations by incorporating elements of UK garage, sophisticated R&B, and stripped-down acoustic vulnerability. Co-produced with Rostam Batmanglij and Ariel Rechtshaid, the record tackles heavy personal subject matter, including depression, chronic illness, and the sudden loss of a close friend. It was lauded as their most musically adventurous and emotionally raw work to date.
