Tales of Terror
by Hallows Eve
Emerging prominently from the nascent Atlanta thrash scene, this debut album heavily leaned into dark, horror-inspired lyricism and aggressive speed metal riffing. 'Tales of Terror' bridges the gap between the muscular melodies of power metal and the violent, unpolished speed of the burgeoning thrash movement. Despite rough production values, the highly influential track 'Metal Merchants' cemented the group's legacy within the 1980s extreme underground.
