Album Notes & Community Reviews
Igniting a widespread resurgence of traditional, 1980s-style heavy metal during a period dominated by alternative rock and grunge, the Swedish quintet's debut is relentlessly triumphant. The remarkably polished, soaring power metal anthems and unabashed fantasy imagery provided a crucial, defiant return to classic metal musicianship.
