Hanatarashi

Born from the notoriously destructive live performances of frontman Yamantaka Eye, this self-titled cassette documents the chaotic infancy of the Japanese noise scene. The recordings consist of abrasive tape manipulation, feedback bursts, and violently clattering scrap metal, aiming for total sonic assault rather than traditional musicality. It laid the foundational groundwork for Eye's future, highly influential work with Boredoms.
