Album Notes & Community Reviews
The idiosyncratic Japanese multi-media artist delivers a jarringly surreal, abrasive collision of bubblegum pop aesthetics and terrifying electronic noise. 'Gift 鐚笂' heavily juxtaposes Hanayo's innocent, whispered vocal delivery with incredibly harsh post-industrial soundscapes and erratic digital glitch sequences. The polarizing, often disturbing record stands as a fiercely unique entry into the turn-of-the-century avant-pop underground.
