Album Notes & Community Reviews
This highly imaginative conceptual album details the fictional story of an elderly Yorkshire woman traveling to outer space via a homemade synthesizer. The tracking brilliantly merges soaring analog electronic arpeggiations with the majestic, powerful orchestration of a traditional 29-piece British colliery brass band. The record functions as a unique, triumphant blend of nostalgic English folk traditions and cosmic electronic ambition.
