Eastward Ho! - Harold Land in New York

Album Notes & Community Reviews

As a prominent figure of the West Coast scene, tenor saxophonist Harold Land traveled to New York to record this muscular, hard-hitting session. The resulting album proves his bop credentials against an East Coast rhythm section, displaying a dark, deeply swinging tone that successfully bridged the perceived regional stylistic divide.
