Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping back from the massive, bombastic calypso arrangements that made him a global superstar, the vocalist curates a delicate, deeply soothing collection of gentle folk love songs. The sparse acoustic guitar and choral backing create an intimate, pastoral atmosphere that highlights his warm, velvety tenor. The record remains a gorgeous, tranquil high-water mark of the mainstream folk boom.
