Album Notes & Community Reviews
A departure for Ukrainian black metal band Hate Forest, 'The Gates' is an instrumental work of dark ambient and forest field recordings. Repetitive, nocturnal textures replace guitars entirely, drawing on history and mythology rather than metal structures.
