Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran British space rock collective Hawkwind heavily integrates contemporary electronic, ambient, and techno textures into their sprawling, guitar-driven sound on 'Alien 4'. Functioning as a loose science-fiction concept album regarding extraterrestrial visitation, the record balances driving, heavy rock tracks with expansive, synthesizer-heavy instrumental interludes. It effectively showcases the band's willingness to absorb modern 90s rave aesthetics into their classic cosmic blueprint.
