Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning almost as a Dave Brock solo project under the band's moniker, 'Church of Hawkwind' leans heavily into synthesizer-driven soundscapes over traditional guitar rock. The compositions embrace emerging digital technologies and drum machines, giving the project a markedly atmospheric and experimental electronic tilt. It showcases the veteran space rock collective adapting to the aesthetics of the early 1980s.
