Album Notes & Community Reviews
Adding violinist and keyboardist Simon House to their ranks, Hawkwind significantly expanded their blistering, drug-fueled space rock with lush, classically influenced Mellotron textures. 'Hall of the Mountain Grill' is a remarkably epic, highly progressive psychedelic journey, balancing intensely rhythmic, heavy sci-fi jams with beautifully atmospheric instrumental interludes.
