Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hayley Williams's third solo album, 'Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party', is a critically acclaimed work of alternative pop that blends elements of trip-hop, indie rock, and shoegaze. Marking her first independent project on the Post Atlantic imprint after departing a major label, the album was co-written and produced primarily with Daniel James and features Williams performing a range of instruments. The project is defined by its raw lyrical themes of mental health, trauma, and relationships, as well as its unconventional staggered release, which began with a surprise drop of seventeen individual songs.
