Album Notes & Community Reviews
Helmed by Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo, 'Popaganda' abandons the electronic dance-punk of his previous record in favor of massive, infectious power pop. The album is incredibly melodic and upbeat, drawing heavy inspiration from the classic song structures of Elvis Costello and Cheap Trick. Despite its bright, playful exterior, the lyrics retain a distinctly bittersweet, cynical edge.
