Album Notes & Community Reviews
The fifth studio album by Bermudian singer-songwriter Heather Nova, 'South' moves her folk-rooted writing toward a polished pop rock setting built on electric guitars and layered backing vocals. Its songs centre on travel, distance and romantic dislocation, continuing the reflective songwriting of her earlier records in a more radio-oriented production.
