Album Notes & Community Reviews

Penned predominantly by the brilliant Rod Temperton, the sophomore effort from this multinational ensemble perfectly balances aggressive funk workouts with velvety, sophisticated ballads. Featuring the indelible classic 'The Groove Line', the impeccably tight arrangements and vibrant vocal harmonies became a defining blueprint for late-70s R&B. The production bridges the gap between the grit of street funk and the polished sheen of the disco era.
