Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as an ambitious musical tribute to the French poet Arthur Rimbaud to mark the centenary of his death, this project unites a sprawling cast of international collaborators. 'Sahara Blue' features vocal and instrumental contributions from artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, John Cale, and David Sylvian, weaving spoken word poetry into lush, electronic-tinged art pop. The result is a highly atmospheric, multicultural homage to one of literature's most enigmatic figures.
