Richard Pinhas pushed his formidable Heldon project into a terrifyingly aggressive, astonishingly heavy collision of brutal progressive rock and sequencer-driven electronics. 'Interface' is a profoundly dark, fiercely technical instrumental masterwork, marrying remarkably cold, repetitive synthesizer pulses with incredibly ominous, futuristic space-rock guitar shredding.
