Returning to their original two-piece lineup of Zach Hill and Spencer Seim, Hella stripped away the vocalists and expanded instrumentation of their previous album. The resulting release is a fiercely technical, entirely instrumental math rock explosion defined by manic drumming and abrasive, complex guitar work.
