The Time of the Oath

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the tragic suicide of founding drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg, the German power metal pioneers dedicated this soaring, highly energetic concept album to his memory. The lyrical narrative is densely based on the apocalyptic prophecies of Nostradamus, matched by incredibly fast, triumphant dual-guitar harmonies. The focused, powerful execution completely revitalized the band's critical standing, securing their legacy within the European heavy metal pantheon.
