Album Notes & Community Reviews

Before recruiting Michael Kiske and fully embracing symphonic grandeur, Helloween laid the raw, hyper-fast foundation for European power metal with 'Walls of Jericho'. Kai Hansen's frantic, high-pitched vocals duel with blazing, intensely melodic twin-guitar harmonies across a series of triumphant, fantasy-themed speed metal anthems. It is a wildly energetic, historically vital debut that permanently shaped the trajectory of the subgenre.
