Album Notes & Community Reviews

Helmet's devastatingly heavy debut 'Strap It On' completely reinvented the post-hardcore and noise rock sound with rigid, mechanical precision. Page Hamilton's heavily drop-tuned guitars strike with incredibly aggressive, staccato rhythms and uncommon time signatures, delivering a raw, angry, and undeniably energetic sonic assault.
