Album Notes & Community Reviews
The LP collects premiere-era broadcast recordings: Eduard Brunner plays 'Accanto' with Hans Zender conducting its premiere performance, the Schola Cantorum Stuttgart under Clytus Gottwald sings 'Consolation I', and Michael Gielen conducts 'Kontrakadenz'. The three works span the first decade of Lachenmann's musique concr猫te instrumentale, built from the physical actions of sound production.
