Album Notes & Community Reviews

As crucial members of the Boot Camp Clik, the Brooklyn duo delivered a defining staple of murky, subterranean East Coast hip-hop. The incredibly heavy, jazz-inflected production by Da Beatminerz provides a menacing backdrop for Rock and Sean Price's aggressive, contrasting vocal interplay. The relentless, dark atmosphere of the recording perfectly encapsulated the grimiest aesthetics of 1990s New York street rap.
