Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating heavily within the Pacific Northwest independent scene, Jason Albertini's project delivers a remarkably hazy, deeply compelling exploration of lo-fi rock. The album utilizes incredibly murky production techniques, burying Albertini's hushed vocals beneath layers of fuzzy, warbling acoustic guitars and unsteady, plodding drum rhythms. It brilliantly evokes the strange, isolating atmosphere of 1990s 4-track home recording, dripping with deeply nostalgic, psychedelic melancholia.
