Album Notes & Community Reviews

Samuel T. Herring of Future Islands revives his underground hip-hop alter ego for this deeply introspective collaborative release with producer Kenny Segal. The lo-fi, jazz-inflected beats perfectly complement Herring's raspy, poetic reflections on addiction, aging, and personal regret.
