Album Notes & Community Reviews

Utilizing an unconventional ensemble featuring dual tubas, dual electric guitars, and aggressive percussion, Henry Threadgill's compositions on this record defied structural norms. 'Spirit of Nuff...Nuff' emphasizes polyrhythmic complexity and abrasive dissonance, pushing avant-garde jazz toward funk-inspired fusion without compromising its radical creative integrity.
