Album Notes & Community Reviews
Leading an unconventional ensemble that prominently features dual tubas, the innovative composer blurs the lines between free improvisation and traditional New Orleans brass music. The complex countermelodies and incredibly dense rhythmic structures underscore his reputation as a vital force in modern jazz composition.
